New Cadbury's Desserts

Forget Pots of Joy. Forget Layers of Joy. You can even forget Bubbles of Joy. For the time being, at least. Because Cadbury has just brought out a new twin-pot-style dessert. Not to be outdone by Muller's Puds or the recent Mars twin-pot desserts, Cadbury have tried to up their game and deliver a more adult version of their chilled twin-pots. The new range has three variants. They all feature a thick milk chocolate dessert, but come with either crunchy toffee clusters, tangy orange flavour crispy balls or fudge pieces. To be honest, this isn't as imaginative as some of the recent releases in the chilled dessert aisle, and they aren't even as innovative as Cadbury's Layers of Joy or as decadent as Pots of Joy. Anyhow, they make a refreshing change and will probably keep Cadbury in the market for twin-pot desserts.

  1. I have just attempted to eat one of the new desserts with toffee by Cadbury's. I have NEVER before felt motivated to post a comment on any site about anything but feel driven by disappointment in this case. I am a great fan of the various dessert pots but this latest 'creation' is in my view, 214 calories of tasteless dessert with equally tasteless sawdust on the side. Never again!
