If your bbq is lacking somewhat,
then perhaps you should try this new range of sauces and rubs which have been
spotted on the shelves in Asda. My friends and I though we'd give them a little
try....
The Devil Wing Barbecue
Sauce is sweet, but with a
devilish kick.
We didn't try the Unholy Barbecue Sauce or the Judas Ketchup, but
apparently the latter is so named because it isn't your traditional ketchup; it
has betrayed the ketchup family with smokey, fiery notes of chipotle and paprika.
The super sweet and sensationally smoky Kansas City BBQ Sauce has a tomato and vinegar base. The
blend of herbs and spices ensure it’s perfect with pretty much all barbecue meats. A firm favourite in my household and a staple BBQ style sauce
the world over.
The South Carolina Mustard gives all the great mustard taste but without the nostril stripping heat. This vinegar based sauce is bursting with a special blend of herbs and spices and a little good old English mustard.
£1.50 in Asda
Red's have also started stocking meat rubs, so if the sauces don't perk up your summer, then give them a go!
