Kellogg's Mini Biscuits
Kellogg's are on a roll this summer with a seemingly endless number of new products appearing on our shelves. These new Rice Krispies Mini Biscuits seem to be a cross between Kellogg's mini breaks (those little packets of square, crunchy, oaty biscuits) and a Rice Krispie cereal bar. The packet calls them 'biscuits', and yet product descriptions refer to them as 'cereal bites'. For me, they're both; baked using cereal grains of rice, barley and wheat until they're hard and satisfyingly crunchy. But they are undoubtedly Rice Krispie-ish; the taste and texture of a timeless cereal has not been lost. They are indeed rather mini and come in cute little lunchbox-sized packets. You get 5 of these mini packets per pack. I was pleased to discover that Kellogg's have also brought out a Coco Pops version of the same concept. Both are available from Sainsbury's, currently on offer for £1.00.
