This summer we've seen a spectacular range of limited edition sandwiches. Tesco have given us the Mozerella, Tomato & Basic, the Tuna Nicoise, the Salmon & Cucumber and the Smoked Ham & Mustard. Boots have been even more creative, with Carribean Chilli & Lime Tuna amongst their summer line-up. Now Ginsters have joined this limited edition club and, in my opinion, well and truly raised the bar. Their two new sandwiches, Buffalo Chicken and Fajita Beef, are inspired by the rising trend for American street food.
The Buffalo chicken sandwich comprises roast British chicken in Buffalo wing sauce with ranch-style mayonnaise and mixed leaves, while the fajita beef sandwich includes fajita spiced British beef with three chilli sauce, tomato relish and cool mayonnaise with grated mature cheddar cheese and mixed leaves. Both make use of malted grain bread.
