Yollies

You may well recognise the packaging of this new and quirky product for children. Yes, it's made by the same company as one of the leading ranges of cheese string. And, as you probably know, I'm a sucker for a 'word mash-up', so these Yollies caught my eye. There's no prizes for guessing that they're a cross between a yogurt and a lolly, but don't start thinking that this is just one of the increasing number of frozen yogurt lollies, such as Yoo Moo's latest offering. This is just a standard fruity yogurt that you can pop in the freezer (just as you might with a Frube) and eat in a novel way. The novelty-factor does not stop there though! To appeal even more to children, they come in a range of collectable characters (clever, hey? - kids are gonna want them all) in raspberry, strawberry and apricot flavours. If that wasn't enough, the lolly sticks are each stamped with a letter, and packaging urges children to collect enough to spell their name and attach them to key rings etc...
£2.00 for a pack of 4 in Sainsbury's. Also spotted in Asda.
