Aunt Bessie’s has made its debut in the cake category with the introduction of a range of traditional cakes and pastries. The NINE! new products cover the tart, loaf cake and sharing cake categories. OK, so they're not that special and won't be pride of place at your child's birthday party, but I reckon they'd still go down a treat in the office. You can always rely on Aunt Bessie, I've found.
The full range is available in Tesco:
- Bakewell tart, raspberry and coconut tart, and jam bakes (x4, £1.25)
- Carrot cake, sticky ginger cake, and jam and coconut cake (x1, £1.50)
- Carrot cake, lightly fruited cake, and rich chocolate cake in sharing format (x1, £2.30)
