Solo Italia

These new indulgent Italian-made puddings have been spotted in Asda. They're made by Solo Italia, and you can't get much more Italian than that, but the range that they have brought out don't seem very Italian to me. Rather than the Italian classics of panna cotta and tiramisu, they have a selection of 'truffle' desserts and a (French??!!) Crème Caramel.
The truffles are made with a mousse surrounding a sauce centre and dusted with icing sugar. These are available in chocolate, coffee, lemon and vanilla variants.




The Crème Caramel dessert is made with layers of Caramel Sauce, Savoiardo Sponge in a Vanilla Flavour Soak, a Creamy Mousse, topped with a Caramel Drops Decoration.
