Sandwich thins have been on the market for some time now, and surely people must be starting to tire of them. Time for a new alternative? Bagel thins. Yes, they do indeed look like a squashed version of the traditional bagel, a bagel with all the substance taken out, or a bagel on a diet. But their new make-over reduces the calorie content of a traditional bagel by approx 100kcal. Both Warburtons and the New York Bagel Co. have newly released this product. Warburtons have plain bagels for sale in Sainsbury's for £1.50 (for 6), and the New York Bagel Co. has plain, half and half, and seeded varieties (£1.60 for 6 in Sainsbury's).
Kingsmill also produce bagel thins, and it's worth knowing that Warburtons have also produced a Cinnamon & Raisin variant, but I didn't see this in Sainsbury's.
