From today, Burger King will offer a new menu inspired by European ingredients, featuring a new line-up of burgers and desserts. It draws inspiration from as far afield as Spain, the Netherlands and Italy.
Burger King’s Eurotrip offerings:
Spanish Tendercrisp: A Tendercrisp patty topped with salsa brava, edam cheese and crispy onions, as well as tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise.
Crunchy Cheese Whopper: Whopper and crunchy cheese patties topped with bacon, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and ketchup. Is this supposed to be the Italian-inspired one? Bravo, I say!
Amsterdam Steakhouse: A Whopper patty topped with edam cheese, bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce, as well as the standard salad ingredients.
All burgers will retail with a recommended price point of £4.99 for an individual burger of £6.69 as part of a meal, and will be available until 17 November.
UK franchises will also offer breaded mozzarella sticks – available for £1.99 for four pieces or £2.89 for six pieces – as well as chicken fries to accompany.
And the Eurotrip menu is topped off by sweet offerings including apple pie sticks, consisting of a sweet apple pie filling encased in a warm and crisp pastry.
