Cornetto: Peanut Butter Love and Cookies n Dream

Cornetto have just introduced two interesting new flavours to the brand: Peanut Butter Love and Cookies n Dream. Cornetto have brought out a variety of interesting flavours in recent years, and I'm relieved to see that this year is no exception. Many European countries have already been enjoying the Peanut Butter variant for a few years now, so it's about time that it was brought to the UK.

Walls Music Tornado

Wall’s Kids has launched Music Tornado, a candyfloss flavoured ice cream, which includes one of four different whistles as the stick. It is available in boxes of 30, RRP £1.




Maxibon Ice Cream Sandwich

Alright, Maxibons have been around for donkey's years. But as far as I'm aware, it's the first time Sainsbury's have been selling them. They're available at £2.00 for a box of 3. For those of you who don't know, it consists of a block of ice cream containing small chocolate chips with one end covered in chocolate, and the other sandwiched between two biscuits.
Just under 200cal per sandwich.


Magnum Caramel “features velvety vanilla ice cream with a sea salt caramel swirl and is covered in cracking Magnum milk chocolate and launches to tap into a consumer trend for caramel,” so once again, it's the sweet-salty sensation that is presently taking over our supermarket shelves! However, doesn't the Magnum Gold?! have a sea-salt caramel swirl? And Magnum already have a Double Caramel variety and Infinity Chocolate and Caramel. In my opinion though, this new variety is still most welcome!

It will be available at £3.35 for a pack of four.




And lastly, as if you hadn't already had enough peanut butter ice cream with the new Ben and Jerry's and the Cornetto, here comes Magnum's version.

Magnum Double Peanut Butter:  Peanut butter ice cream dipped in a chocolatey coating, peanut butter sauce and milk chocolate. Available in 3 bar packs, but it hasn't yet been confirmed whether this will be released in the UK this year. Let's hope so!
