Black Halloween Burger

Its debut in Japan caused quite a stir with a charcoal-stained bun, bamboo cheese and squid ink sauce.
And now fast food fans in the UK will be able to get a taste of Burger King's infamous black burger, which the chain is bringing to our shores this month. But unlike the Japanese version which came with black cheese made with bamboo charcoal and a similarly hued sauce made with squid ink, the UK version will feature conventional Whopper fixings. They include such as a flame-grilled beef patty, topped with melted American cheese, BBQ sauce, ripe tomatoes, fresh lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions. The bun itself has been stained with a natural colourant and a BBQ flavour has been baked into the bread.  The Halloween Whopper Sandwich features a pitch black bun and will cost £4.29; a regular Whopper costs £3.79.
