If you watch Made in Chelsea, you may be familiar with Jamie Laing. If, like me, you don't, then you may be more familiar with his sweets. Jamie is the creator of gourmet candy company Candy Kittens. Candy Kittens makes gummy sweets with unusual flavours such as Eton Mess and sour watermelon which are currently stocked in Waitrose and Sainsbury's. Candy Kittens’ confectionery is gluten free and “made from real fruit juices,” the company claims, although they have attracted criticism from vegeterians for using gelatin. But veggies (and vegans) need not fear, for their latest product Sweet Pineapple has not so much sniffed an animal, even though it has been shaped like one! What a taste - pineapple just as it should be. They're more refreshing that Refreshers and more more-ish than Maltesers. If you can afford them, they're worth every penny.
Oh, and apparently Jamie is heir to biscuit company McVities. Wowzers!
